Electrical Reconstruction of an Overhead Crane

Delivery of a complete electrical installation of the crane. The crane is equipped with a rope grab for handling bulk materials. Operation is controlled from the crane seat; an air-conditioned cabin is mounted on the crane bridge. All drives are controlled by frequency converters.

Interesting facts

The SIMO Dynamic Brake system is used to control the frequency converters. This unique system enables precise crane control, allowing the operator to use reverse joystick movement for braking while retaining all the advantages of frequency-converter drive control. The system ensures energy-efficient operation and reduced drive wear compared to resistor-based control.
